COMMERCIAL SNOW & ICE MANAGEMENT
Commercial snow removal that starts with how your site works.
Your parking lot, loading bay and front entrance serve different purposes. AIM Cedar Works plans commercial snow clearing around the areas your staff, customers and deliveries need to reach. Our Snow Removal Division is based on Norland Avenue in Burnaby and brings over 20 years of experience to Metro Vancouver properties.

Parking lots, drive aisles and loading areas
A useful winter plan starts with the pavement you actually need cleared. Identify customer parking, delivery approaches, loading doors, waste collection access and pedestrian crossings. Tell us which areas must be accessible first and where vehicles remain parked overnight. These details help define an achievable scope before the first snowfall.
Industrial sites and shared business complexes
Truck turning space, loading schedules and shared drive aisles can affect the clearing sequence. At a multi-tenant property, confirm who controls the common areas before requesting a contract: the individual business, the building owner or a strata/property manager. We can review several connected addresses together so the proposed service area is clear.
Where the snow will go
Snow-storage space is part of the assessment. Show us drainage routes, fire access, visibility at exits and areas that must remain unobstructed. A site with limited storage may need a different plan as piles grow. Any additional equipment or snow relocation requirements should be discussed in the proposal.
Plowing and salting are separate parts of the plan
Plowing removes accumulated snow; salting addresses ice conditions on the agreed surfaces. Pedestrian routes may require separate equipment and labour. Your proposal identifies the services, rates and treatment conditions rather than assuming that every paved surface receives the same treatment.
What affects the quote?
Serviceable area, access restrictions, parked vehicles, slopes, pedestrian routes, snow-storage options and required operating hours all affect the work. Submit your address, the areas you want included and any site plan you already have. AIM reviews the request and confirms scope and route availability.
Can you quote more than one commercial property?
Yes. Identify each address and the property manager or business contact responsible for the portfolio. Note whether the locations are independent sites or share a common clearing contract.
Do you service individual residential driveways?
Our snow-removal enquiries are for commercial, industrial and strata properties. We do not offer individual residential driveway service.
